Where can I find recipes (in english) to make food from Minahasa, Indonesia?
I'm trying to find a bunch of recipes in English (so I can make them) of food they eat in Minahasa, Indonesia (specifically Manado, but anywhere in Minahasa is fine!) Does anyone know where I can get those?

- Rice Cooked in Coconut Milk (Nasi Uduk) Ingredients: 2 cups rice 3 cups coconut milk 1 salam leaf ? teaspoon salt aluminum foil Instructions: Put all the ingredients into a saucepan, and bring to a boil. Turn off the heat, cover the pan and let the mixture stand for fifteen minutes to allow the rice to absorb the coconut milk. Place the rice on an aluminum foil square in a Chinese-style steamer. Steam for twenty minutes to complete the cooking. Makes 8 servings, with other dishes ************** Manado Porridge (Bubur Manado - Tinotuan) Ingredients: 250 gram long grain rice 2 ears of corn, kernels stripped from the cobs salt to taste water 5 long string beans ? cup spinach leaves ? cup kangkung leaves (water convolvulus) 200 gram pumpkin, cut in 2 x 2 cm pieces of 1 cm thickness 20 kemangi (Horappa basil) leaves Instructions: Boil the rice together with the corn kernels and the salt in enough water to cover rice to a depth of 6 cm After the water comes to a boil, add the long beans, cut in 5 cm lengths. Cook until the rice is half done; add the spinach leaves, the kangkung, the pumpkin, and the basil. Simmer tightly covered, until rice is done. Remove. Serve with tomato sambal and fried salted fish. Sambal Tomat Mix finely sliced red chilies, bird's eye chilies, shallots and tomatoes together. Ass salt and stir until everything is well-blended. ******************* Crispy Sweet Rolls (Kue Semprong) Ingredients: 260 gram rice flour 150 gram granulated sugar 4 eggs ? tsp. cinnamon powder 450 cc coconut milk from 1 coconut cooking oil for greasing Instructions: Mix the flour and sugar thoroughly. Add beaten eggs, stir well. Pour the coconut milk and cinnamon into the flour mixture. Stir well. Heat the cookie mold over a low flame, grease with cooking oil. Put 2 Tbs. of dough into mold and smooth out with the back of the spoon. Close the mold by joining the two halves. Bake over a low flame on each side for about 5 minutes. After the dough is golden brown, roll it right away. Cool on a rack. Note: The cinnamon cookie mold usually has carvings in different shapes on both inner sides of the iron sheet. These shapes usually are circles with lace like edges. When pouring in the mix, keep the mold flat to ensure that the dough does not spread. Smooth the dough out on the circle shape section of the mold. Roll the dough when it is still hot. If not, the cookie will dry out and will not be able to be rolled. To be safe, roll while the cookie is still in the mold over heat. Start by hand, then roll again with the help of a small spatula. Remove and let cool. Keep the dough not too thin but not too thick. If it is too watery or thin, the dough will not be able to stick to the mold, and will spread out of place. Because the dryness of rice flour varies, do a test: if it is too watery, add flour. If it is too thick, add water. Makes 50 rolls.
- Find Minahasa people on the internet and asked them about that. Good luck!
