What is a good Xbox 360 online game- 1st person shooter?

I have and love Call of Duty 4. I only play games online. And I mostly like the 1st person shooting games like Call of Duty. So give me an idea of another game that is similar that I can play on XBox Live. Something that is war and "shoot 'em up" related. By the way, I didn't really care for Halo 3 online. Suggestions?

3. battlefield bad company. Everything is similar to call of duty 4, except everything is destructible. it's also online.
4. Halo 3 was good great 16 player online. And even though Gears was fun the horrible laggy 8 player online made me put it away and pull out Halo 3.

8. The Orange Box is great. and unreal tournament three is rly good if u find friends to play with on campaign mode. But when i tired to go to xbox live games with unreal i didnt really find much at all.
