Good team game online?

I'm looking for a online games/mmos with emphasis on teams/parties. And I mean good teamplay, not like WoW where you grind intances with some random people. Or Quake Team Deathmatch which might as well be a FFA since you're just scoring points. I enjoyed Counterstrike and Team Fortress a lot but they got awfully repetitive, and there's no casual aspect in those games. I don't know about FPS unless it's something really innovative and beats the TF/CS formula. I enjoyed FF11 maybe the most for the party aspect, where you got to talk to people and develop lots of friends. but that game is too hard to get into again, and at this stage especially. Anything rad out there? Anything coming soon? I'd like to know! (FREE/PAY IS NOT AN ISSUE)

  2. hah, world of warcraft, lord of the rings shadows of angmar, vangaurd saga of heros, halo 2 (yes for PC) age of empires 1-3, comand and conquer tiberum wars, supreme commander, and in a while, conan hyberian wars will come out, that will be the ultamite online game. :)
  3. You could try FallenSword (a free browser based MMORPG). I like this game cause of it's guild system that really stimulates interaction and cause of it’s stamina restrictions – that allows casual players to remain competitive -, and the lottery and the auction mechanisms that are also very original. It's a bit hard to understand the game at the begin, but I hope you may enjoy it as much as I do. See you.
  4. If you enjoyed Final Fantasy XI, then you should check out Everquest 2 or Vanguard: Saga of Heroes. Both are great games that make grouping easy and enjoyable. If you are into First person shooters, you could try Planetside. Planetside is a little dated, but the gameplay is unmatched as it was the first (and possibly only) Massively Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter (MMOFPS). Planetside is largely Squad/Platoon oriented. No matter what game you choose, make sure it is one you will enjoy for a long time.
