In terms of what? In terms of economy, Malaysia is richer than Indonesia. In terms of friendship, Indonesians are better because one could get along easily with them than to Malaysians.
I've never been there but I'm sure they are equally great places. I choose Indonesia

i can't say. why? because i'm half-indonesian and half-malaysian. i love indonesia because you can get away with things. hehe. the law doesn't mean anything. food's fantastic. the nightlife... awesome. the people is all right once you get used to them. the jazz festival is there. bali is also available. you can bargain for whatever you want. and, the indonesian accent is far unstandable than the way malaysians speak. oh ya, indonesia is far more trendy that those who are malaysians. malaysia is cool, too. good food as well. formula one is there. better education. nothing beats that. uh, better english is spoken there. probably cheaper, in my opinion. stability of the economy and politics. so, there you go. i can't choose really. i like both countries...
Indonesia has the best surf on earth, so I choose Indonesia, esp. Nias Island and beaches around Indian Ocean.
