Indonexia.com The Truly Indonesia

I love indonesia?

Heres why: babi guling sold there is delicious. women seldom wear head-scarfs. foreigners can enter into any place with no shirts. guys esp. liquor easily obtainable. grass is easily available too. hand-made handicrafts are cheap. cheap imitations easily available. this is the muslim country i like. truely paradise. well, in my point of view, of course. if u compare indonesia with malaysia, i think indonesia rocks. i wonder what slows indonesia's economical growth if compared with malaysia? indonesia has the potential. coz indonesia is somehow more open-minded. not so religion tied-up. thebear: oh yeah, i think i know whats slowing indonesia's growth. education. yup, no such thing as public/govt education. school is only for the rich/privilleged. well, thats what i heard from an indon. bloodweaver: tourist attractions are security tight. patrol guards are stationed there. i just got back from bali. boozjed: oh sorry, i should have use indos instead of indons? sorry. i dont much. boozjed: what do u mean i cant compare? im just really puzzled why indonesia has slower growth. ohhh yes ! i remembered ! indonesia has too many political fights in the last few years. sighz. i hope indonesia recovers quickly. and ROCK ON !!!!

  2. Indonesia ranks number four in population among the nations of the world. It has one of the most diverse populations in the world.Islam is a dominant religion in Indonesia. The population of Islam is 85%. Hinduism is only 2% in Indonesia. There are only 10% of the population who are Christian .The people are cultured and you feel homely there !!
  3. Not so sure I agree. There has been a few incidents targeting locals and foreigners there.
  4. Yeah man... Indonesia rocks, brother!!! (happy?) ***Boojzed: "does anyone in this world call Myanmarese, Cambodian, Vietamese... Indochinese? I don't think so..." A person from Myanmar is called a Burmese A person from Cambodia is called a Khmer A person from Vietnam is called a Viet or Vietnamese (either way) Indochinese is not a country but a region... the name represents Indochina... Cheers!
  5. Q: i wonder what slows indonesia's economical growth if compared with malaysia? because Indonesia had a slash in fuel subsidy. Indonesia's economic growth of 2006 was 5.5% down from 5.8% in 2005 while Malaysia's was 5.6% up 5.2% in 2005 Economic growth in Indonesia is targeted to reach 6.3% in 2007 while Malaysia's is targeted to 6.0% "thebear: oh yeah, i think i know whats slowing indonesia's growth. education. yup, no such thing as public/govt education. school is only for the rich/privilleged. well, thats what i heard from an indon." still... there are more educated people in Indonesia than the entire Malaysia's population..... (around more than 150 million I guess?) Basically you cannot compare Indonesia and Malaysia (I'm not looking down on anyone...)... its like comparing a durian to a rambutan Indon.... Indon... Indon... have you Malasyies have a better word? Indos? why are you so scared of using Indo? does anyone in this world call Myanmarese, Cambodian, Vietamese... Indochinese? I don't think so...

  9. Sure you can love Indonesia. Just be one of Indonesia's provinces and all your questions & doubts are answered. After all we speak the same language that originated from Riau right? Our people are of the same stock, right? So go on, make your move... :-p
  10. what slows indonesia's economical growth if compared with malaysia? the corruptorS,, most of indonesians are lazy,,,copycat,,disobey,,undicipline,,
  11. Indonesia's economy can't boom because of CORRUPTION. well indo rocks? probably... cz my gf is an indonesian HAHAHA..
  12. i absolutely love Bali can't get enough of the place i agree with everything you said the people there are unbelievable. To anybody who is going there instead of tking your suitcase over empty waiting to fill it with things you buy, fill it will your old clothes and some cheaply bought school supplies, there are many charities and orphananges you can visit who will appreciate things that would have otherwise stayed in the back of your cupborad. If that is not really your thing, please still take the things, there are organisations which will come and pick them up from your hotel - its easy, and it helps so much. please message me if you need any details about these wonderful kids and how to help them!
  13. hmm i'd like to correct some things Indonesia is NOT an Islamic country, yes most of the population are Muslims, but it certainly is not a Muslim country, they are democratic country as they are based by democracy not by specific religion. AND actually there are public schools in Indonesia along with the private schools most of the public schools would have "NEGERI" on their school name, such as SMA Negeri I, SMP Negeri 5 etc those the ones with NEGERI, again are public, well known as "sekolah negeri" and schools that are private, are called "sekolah swasta", many in big cities can be found these kinds of schools, to name some SMP Nasional KPS, SMA Tarakanita, both of these are private school aaaaaannnd NO! deep, deep in the village, where only a few that are rich, you can also find schools! public schools. and that means, even the less-have people, not rich whatsoever, they go and attend those schools. so, in Indonesia, those who go to schools are not only the rich
  14. yea, so do i.
  15. very well said boojzed and kuchiki!
